Graduate Student Senate Involvement

Graduate Student Senate is a student government organization at Ohio University, which advocates for and represents graduate and professional students. When I started Graduate School, I became involved with Graduate Student Senate and have found advocating for graduate students to be an extremely rewarding experience.

• Helped initiate a Graduate Student Conference (Grad Con) for Grad Students at OU in 2023 and served as the program director for Grad Con 2024

• As part of my work in the GSS Stipend Committee, I have been working on drafting a proposal that will be presented to the University President to advocate for a subsidized meal plan for Graduate Students on Assistantships
